'ANITYA' (Impermanence) Rust Prints | Release Date

Release Date: Wednesday, May 13th 2026 @9AM PDT

Each print in this drop has been hand-finished with iron paint and allowed to oxidize/evolve into its own unique surface. No two prints are alike. Like rust itself, each print carries its own passage of time, embracing unpredictability and transformation. In its simplest form, “Anitya” (Sanskrit for impermanence) is the understanding that nothing lasts forever. Every moment, every feeling, every season of life is always in flux, ever shifting, dissolving and becoming something new. Rust is often seen as decay, but it is also evidence of change. A reminder that nothing stays fixed. Not beauty, not struggle, not even the weight of difficult moments. As Thich Nhat Hanh once said, “Thanks to impermanence, everything is possible.” ‘Anitya’ invites us to sit with that truth. What feels heavy today will shift, what feels uncertain will pass, what feels broken may become something entirely new. Even in destruction, there is creation.
